This has to be the best bit of creative work I've ever done before coming to ARCH1101. The model you see here was my Year 12 Design and Technology final project which I designed, rendered and then finally constructed to the dimensions and specifications I desired. To those who have no idea what the hell that is up there; it's a unique fusion of three different types of commonly used gym equipment.
-An adjustable bench complete with a barbell rack and a sit-up aid
-A 'captains chair' with tricep dip bars
-And a chin-up/pull-up stand.
The project helped me obtain a band 6 for Design and Technology in the HSC and cost me a little over 1000$ to make!

This is the recently constructed Guangzhou TV and Sightseeing Tower in southern China. This 610m tall wonder was actually the result of an Architecture/Design competition which was won by architects; Mark
Hemel and Barbara Kuit. The unique tower, nicknamed 'the supermodel' due to its interesting narrow mid-section, took approximately 5 years to build and houses a food court, a museum, a large amount of commercial space and also a 180m long open-air skywalk, similar to that of our own Sydney Tower's skywalk.

I took this photo a couple years ago when I was on a camping trip to the Perisher Blue ski resort with my school. I love this photo particularly due to its picturesque and naturally beautiful quality. That small walking trail on the left seems to trail on and on towards the white snowy mountains in the distance.
