Week 4 Exp 1

Here’s the second model for exp 1! The model has 3 distinct levels, a top level workshop, a ground level foyer/entrance and the underground gallery area. The model is fairly big and has A LOT of stairs which could be a problem for the artist…

I'm unable to upload the model onto the 3D Warehouse server because my model file is too large, and I'm unable to shrink the file any more. I've uploaded it onto Rapidshare instead, sorry for the inconvenience!

The first google sketch up model I made had a few similarities to gigantic speaker towers!

I went ahead and rendered this staircase in Google desktop :) - 

It didn't turn out as pretty as I imagined it to be for some reason...so I went hunting and found a VRAY plugin for sketchup and went crazy ;D -

These are the stairs I came up with...kinda struggled with this exercise, there's only so many ways you can re-invent / design stairs :(
