I managed to pull off some great views of the environment and afternoon sunlight!

Developed Crysis Environment - Experiment 3

(Gaga) Lady Gaga’s building, much like her public persona is erratic and non-linear in much of its form. The solid base coupled with the fluid ribbon like top mimics her public persona and draws similarities to the garments she wears. Although being random and ‘strange’ at times, Lady Gaga’s appearance and presences is powerful as she can also be seen as extremely contemporary. I attempted to recapture this erratic but powerful contemporary form through the model.

(Oprah) Similar to Lady Gaga’s building; I also designed Oprah’s building around her persona as well. The design itself came from a ‘fire torch’ notion, in that Oprah is warm, kind, confident and a powerful symbol of hope and inspiration to many individuals globally. Unlike Lady Gaga’s powerfully complicated in-your-face social presence (and architecture), Oprah’s is more refined, minimal and uncomplicated. She/the architecture relies on a tall powerfully confident form that develops its own ‘power’ through the admiration of the individuals who have come into emotional contact with her/it.

(Bridge) The bridge form itself draws from a ‘collision’ of power between the clientele. The architectural form of the bridge is immensely large in proportions and combines a weaving/flowing element which gravitates the clients (or other individuals) towards the center of the bridge. I tried to combine elements of both clients into the design, and ended up fusing a solid but detailed rectilinear object with a tessellating butterfly style arch design.

(Dining Table) The meeting place for the clientele is similar to the bridge design, in that I combined elements from both clients into the single architectural design. For a meeting place, the location is powerfully large in size in relation to an individual and combines solid and strong features with seemingly impossible and bizarre design elements. At the same time though, I tried to create an ‘equilibrium’ of power between the two and this is why I left the entire dining table area and elevators completely un-textured. Also the design rising up from the water is representative of clean and pure neutrality between the two during a meet.

This is a view of the completed Crysis environment from which the “Valley of Desolation” picture was ultimately modeled off. From this angle, the buildings and bridge now tower over the already powerful and large valley!

Client Mashup

LADY Gaga's manager has revealed that Last spring, an eclectic mix of designers thrilled an auditorium full of their peers on the bridge on the other side of the world. Ives spoke about having a deep understanding of how a product is made: its materials, its tooling, its purpose and follows her team of producers as they plan, organise and shoot, focusing on only what is important and limiting the number of projects. The singer is planning a lengthy tour of the place with all the flies and it’s 104 degrees. LADY Gaga had no bad feelings about the moment she saw the large red "O" placed on the Sydney Harbour Bridge in her honour and lived there and became part of the culture. Oprah chose instead to talk about process -- what he called the craft of design and found when you invest in a country, a country will invest in you.

Developed Crysis Model - Experiment 2

This is the general meeting spot area where the two artists can come together! The many textures and different prisms here create a sense of chaos to the meeting area.

The moon light here gives the entire model a really good creepy spooky feel but after a while you can start to notice how the textures and architectural form seem very chaotic against the peacefulness of the environment and night sky.

Here you can see just how much chaotic the architecture appears as it juxtaposes the flowing natural environment surrounding it.

Electroliquid Aggregation

The scientists that are to be my clients for this assignment are Newton and Freud. The hypotheses for the model are:
"Concentration on education reduces social conduct" (Newton)
and
"Too much attention leads to delusions of grandiosity" (Freud)

The new 'Electroliquid Aggregation' hypothesis is:
"Too much focus on any one thing will result in subtle or extravagant chaos"

Client Hypotheses!

Hypotheses

Isaac Newton

1. If you punch someone, even if the guy you punch doesnt feel pain, you will feel it anyway!
2. If Earth never existed, then gravity cannot be proven
3.Concentration on education reduces social conduct
4.Existance of gravity proves that there's not any two things that do not relate to each other.
5. What goes up must come down

Sigmund Freud
1. The best way to fix a crazy person is through communication
2. Everything anyone does is driven in some way by a subconscious sexual disire
3. Too much attention leads to delusions of grandiosity
4. Ironic enough that he is a psychoanalysis, but he couldn't even quit smoking himself.
5. Freud didn't believe everything was related to sex, but rather that conditions develop during specific periods in a child's life where those things are big. Eg mother complex develops during breastfeeding.

Maria Gaetana
1. The curve may be too complicated to explain verbally.
2. Multi-lingual people are intelligent.
3. If Maria Agnesi was not born a Roman Catholic, then Pope Benedict XIV would not have seriously considered her to be a candidate for the University of Bologna
4. People who know more than one language talk more often.
5. A non-conformist in public life is a conformist in private life
